Eid-Al-Adha will be celebrated on 21 evenings till 22 August evening in India. It is declared a national holiday in the country. On this day they attend special prayers at mosques with their new clothes and exchange greetings of “Eid Mubarak” with friends and relatives. More than two millions follower attend Hajj every year which spans more than a week. Hajj includes a five-day religious journey to their Grand Mosque located in Mecca in Saudi Arabia. As per the prophet, Muhammad stated performing Hajj rightly will relieve a person from his sins.
Pakistan is a country where more than ten million animals are sacrificed or slaughtered on the occasion of Bakra Eid. New Delhi has set it to record for 4.3 crore animals slaughtered on this day, while in 2016 record of 3 million innocent goats were sacrificed.
Animals must pass some norms to be slaughtered. An animal cannot be holding any defect like a disability or should be sick. The animal should be of adult age.
